Terms and Conditions

1.1 Reservation request and confirmation

The reservation request is subject to receipt of the required information and verification of the corresponding deposit or payment.

The reservation will be considered confirmed and binding only when GT PERU TRAVEL has received the requested information and validated the initial payment. From that moment on, the coordination and contracting of the services included in the itinerary will formally begin.

Once the reservation is confirmed, the client will receive a document with the detail of the contracted package, including the services included and not included. If, after receiving this information, you do not make observations, inquiries or objections, it will be understood that you have reviewed and accepted the details of your reservation.

The client is responsible for reviewing the information provided and promptly reporting any errors or questions. GT PERU TRAVEL will not be held liable for any issues arising from incorrect, incomplete, or untimely information provided by the client.

1.2 Joint liability of reservation members

When a reservation includes two or more passengers, all members shall assume joint and several liability for the obligations arising from the contract.

The person who makes or subscribes the reservation acts on behalf of the other members of the group and declares that everyone has been informed about the applicable conditions.

1.3 Required information and documentation

To properly manage the reservation and ensure the correct provision of services, the client must provide personal information and valid documentation where appropriate:

• Full name
• Photograph of passport or ID.
• Gender.
• Nationality.
• Date of birth

The information provided must be truthful, complete and match the passenger's official documents. Any errors in the data may result in restrictions, additional costs or inconveniences in the provision of certain services.

2.1 Initial deposit

To secure a tour or package tour reservation, an initial deposit will be required. The amount will depend on the itinerary and the services contracted.

The initial deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once received, it can be used to manage and secure services associated with the reservation, such as tickets, permits, accommodation, trains, camps and other providers.

2.2 Payment methods

• Credit or debit cards
• IZIPAY.
• PayPal

2.3 Transaction fees and expenses

The initial payment may be made through the means enabled by GT PERU TRAVEL. Credit or debit card transactions will be subject to a 5% fee, while PayPal payments will be subject to an 8% fee. Any commission, expense or bank charge generated by the payment transaction will be borne by the customer.

2.4 Outstanding balance payment

The outstanding balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the start of the tour, unless a different condition is indicated for a specific service.

To start any excursion or tourist service, it will be essential to have the corresponding full payment.

2.5 Cash payments

Cash payments must be made at least 48 hours in advance. US dollars and Peruvian soles are accepted only in our office, applying the current exchange rate of the day.

Broken, damaged or damaged banknotes or $100 banknotes of the CB-B series are not accepted.

2.6 Non-refundable initial deposit policy

The initial deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including medical emergencies. Medical reports or certificates alone are not an exception to this policy.

This condition responds to the fact that the deposit is intended in advance for the management and assurance of services that may be subject to non-refundable policies, such as tickets, permits, accommodation reservations, trains, campsites and third-party services.

3.1 Change requests

Date change requests will be subject to availability, supplier conditions and the costs generated by the modification.

3.2 Rescheduling penalties

Rescheduling an excursion can result in a penalty starting from $200 per person. The final amount will depend on the contracted package and the conditions applicable to the services involved.

3.3 Associated costs

The penalty mainly corresponds to the costs derived from managing new tickets and services, because certain reservations are linked to a specific date and may not be modifiable, transferable or refundable.

4.1 Domestic air transportation

• Changes are subject to availability, fare difference and penalties from US$30, in addition to administrative expenses from US$16.
• Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance; for group services, at least 72 hours in advance.
• Non-attendance (no show) implies the total loss of service.

4.2 International air transportation

• Modifications, cancellations and other conditions will be governed exclusively by the policies of the issuing airline.
• Requests must be made at least 7 business days in advance.
• The no show implies the total loss of the service without the right to reimbursement.

4.3 Rail transportation

• Changes may be requested up to 48 hours in advance, subject to availability and the conditions of the railway operator.
• A 10% penalty will be applied, plus administrative charges starting at US$35.
• Returns are not allowed.

4.4 Accommodation services

• Reservations are subject to the policies and conditions of the contracted establishment.
• Modification requests must be made at least 15 days in advance.
• Penalties will be determined in accordance with the supplier's conditions.

5.1 Tour and package cancellations

Cancellations requested by the client will be subject to the following penalties on the total contracted value:

5.2 When rescheduling is not possible

When rescheduling is not possible, the client may request the hiring of a new service, subject to availability, rates and conditions in force at the time of the new hiring.

5.3 Excursion and activity cancellations

Excursions and activities are subject to operational, climatic, logistical and safety conditions. The execution of certain activities may depend on the availability of suppliers and the conditions of the destination.

For cancellations of excursions and activities, the following penalties will apply:

5.4 Non-refundable situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

• Voluntary abandonment of the service once started.
• Non-compliance with the physical conditions required for the activity.
• Participation under the influence of alcohol or substances.
• Failure to attend the meeting point or non-compliance with the established schedule.

6.1 Travel documentation and requirements

The client must have current and valid documentation to make the trip, including ID, passport, visas, permits or other documents required according to the contracted service and the destination.

6.2 Schedules and meeting points

Likewise, it must be presented punctually at the times and meeting points communicated by GT PERU TRAVEL.

Failure to comply with these obligations, as well as the presentation of incorrect, expired or insufficient documentation, will be the sole responsibility of the client and may result in the loss of the service without the right to reimbursement.

6.3 Minors

Minors must travel accompanied by their parents or have the corresponding notarial authorization, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The responsibility for carrying and presenting the valid documentation of the minor lies exclusively with the client or responsible adult.

6.4 Travel insurance

GT PERU TRAVEL recommends taking out travel insurance that includes, according to the needs of the passenger, medical assistance, accidents, cancellations, loss of luggage and other eventualities.

The contracting and validity of the insurance are the exclusive responsibility of the client. GT PERU TRAVEL may provide assistance in coordination with the insurance company when necessary, without assuming the economic coverage of the event.

6.5 Personal belongings

The customer is responsible for the custody of their personal belongings during the trip. GT PERU TRAVEL assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless legally applicable.

7.1 Circumstances beyond the control of GT PERU TRAVEL

GT PERU TRAVEL shall not be liable for breaches, modifications, delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

• ACTS OF GOD OR FORCE MAJEURE.
• Adverse weather conditions.
• Strikes, blockades, demonstrations or social unrest.
• Government Provisions or Restrictions.
• Supplier delays, modifications or cancellations.

7.2 Assistance in extraordinary circumstances

When these circumstances affect the provision of a service, GT PERU TRAVEL will seek to provide alternatives or coordinate solutions within the operational possibilities and policies of the suppliers involved.

8.1 Traveler assistance

If you need to make an inquiry, request additional information, or report an issue related to your reservation, you can contact your assigned Experience Designer. Our team will be available to help you and coordinate your trip details in a timely manner.

9.1 Updates to the Terms and Conditions

GT PERU TRAVEL may update or modify these Terms and Conditions when necessary to improve its processes, services or customer information.

Updated versions will be published in the corresponding official channels. We recommend periodically reviewing this information before hiring new services.

9.2 Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.

Any dispute arising from the interpretation, execution or fulfillment of these terms will be submitted to the competent courts of the Peruvian territory, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

9.3 Declaration of acceptance

The client declares to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the particular conditions communicated for the contracted services, committing to comply with the corresponding obligations.
