Considered the gentler alternative to Vinicunca, Palcoyo offers equally impressive multicoloured landscapes with considerably less physical effort. Leaving Cusco at 04:30, the route reaches the foot of the mountain, where a short, gentle walk of approximately 30 to 40 minutes leads to a viewpoint. From there, you can admire three colourful mountain formations and a distinctive nearby stone forest, with natural rock formations that appear sculpted by wind and time.
Ideal for families, older adults or travellers with limited time or fitness who still want to enjoy the beauty of the multicoloured Andes, the adventure ends with the return journey to Cusco.
