  Day 1: Cusco – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Cusco Cusco → Pisac → Ollantaytambo → Cusco

  The Sacred Valley of the Incas was the backbone of Inca civilisation, and this classic route takes you through its most representative treasures. Starting from Cusco at 08:00, the first stop is Pisac, with its Andean handicraft market and impressive archaeological complex carved high into the mountainside.
  
  The route continues to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town still inhabited as it was conceived more than 500 years ago, with its ceremonial terraces and fortress that resisted the Spanish advance. Amid landscapes of snow-capped mountains and sacred rivers, the tour ends around 18:00 with the return to Cusco.
