Our expedition starts early in the morning in the city of Cusco, heading towards Manu National Park. The first stop will be at the Ninamarca archaeological complex, where we will see the pre-Inca chullpas (burial towers) that form part of the archaeological heritage of the Paucartambo province.
Afterward, we will visit Paucartambo, a traditional Andean town that preserves its colonial architecture and rich cultural heritage. We will continue ascending to Tres Cruces and Abra Acjanaco, considered the main gateway to Manu National Park, where we will begin our descent into the cloud forest.
Along the way, we will take a walk to observe the Cock-of-the-Rock (Peru's national bird), as well as various species of monkeys, orchids, ferns, and native plant life. After lunch, we will continue our journey to our lodge, where we will enjoy dinner and rest. -
