  Day 1: Cusco – Ninamarca – Paucartambo – Abra Acjanaco – Cloud Forest – Rainforest Lodge Cusco → Rainforest Lodge

  Our expedition starts early in the morning in the city of Cusco, heading towards Manu National Park. The first stop will be at the Ninamarca archaeological complex, where we will see the pre-Inca chullpas (burial towers) that form part of the archaeological heritage of the Paucartambo province.
  
  Afterward, we will visit Paucartambo, a traditional Andean town that preserves its colonial architecture and rich cultural heritage. We will continue ascending to Tres Cruces and Abra Acjanaco, considered the main gateway to Manu National Park, where we will begin our descent into the cloud forest.
  
  Along the way, we will take a walk to observe the Cock-of-the-Rock (Peru's national bird), as well as various species of monkeys, orchids, ferns, and native plant life. After lunch, we will continue our journey to our lodge, where we will enjoy dinner and rest.

  Day 2: Rainforest Lodge – Puerto Atalaya – Alto Madre de Dios River – Machuwasi Lake – Harpy Eagle Lodge Rainforest Lodge → Harpy Eagle Lodge

  After breakfast, we will travel to Puerto Atalaya, where we will board a boat to navigate the Alto Madre de Dios River, admiring the lush Amazonian vegetation and various bird and wildlife species along the way.
  
  Upon arrival at the lodge, we will have lunch and, in the afternoon, visit Machuwasi Lake. We will navigate in traditional rafts to observe the Hoatzin—known as the prehistoric bird of the Amazon—alongside other species characteristic of this wetland. At dusk, we will head out for caiman spotting before returning to the lodge for dinner and rest.

  Day 3: Harpy Eagle Lodge – Parrot Clay Lick – Atalaya – Cusco Harpy Eagle Lodge → Cusco

  Very early in the morning, we will visit a parrot clay lick, where different species of parrots and macaws gather daily to consume essential minerals from the clay walls of this natural site.
  
  Following breakfast, we will go on a jungle hike along trails where we can observe diverse species of birds, plants, and iconic Amazonian trees. Once the activity is finished, we will return by boat to Puerto Atalaya, where our tourist transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, passing back through the cloud forest and the town of Paucartambo.
