PALLAYPUNCHU RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

We begin the day with pickup from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. and head south, passing through picturesque villages and valleys where the best corn in the world is produced. En route, we'll stop to refuel with a delicious breakfast and continue our journey. We'll pass through Sicuani until we reach the town of Layo, famous for its lagoon, which also bears the same name. Our vehicle will drop us off mid-mountain, where we prepare for our hike. This trail can be a bit challenging at times, as there are some climbs. Your walking sticks will be very helpful, but don't worry, our guide will assist you every step of the way. Upon reaching this point, a spectacular view of PallayPunchu will amaze us. We'll have plenty of time to admire this wonderful landscape, with its contoured mountains shaped like a poncho, hence the name Pallay Punchu (woven poncho). After admiring the beauty of the new rainbow mountain, we'll descend the same path where our transportation will be waiting to take us to the restaurant for lunch. After this wonderful day of trekking and memorable landscapes, we'll begin the return trip to Cusco, where we'll arrive at approximately 6:00 PM.

Flexibility

• The cancellation policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies without penalty. Otherwise, a 100% penalty applies.
• The rescheduling policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies until December 31, 2025.

Notes to keep in mind

• Promotion valid for travel until December 31, 2025.
• Tour start time: Between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM (it is recommended to be ready at the pickup point 15 minutes in advance).
• For group tours: The passenger is responsible for arriving on time according to the established itinerary of the purchased tour package. Otherwise, the passenger may be able to join the corresponding service at their own expense (transportation). No refund will be applied for any missed service.
• For group tours, we pick up guests from hotels located in the historic center of Cusco. If you are staying at an accommodation outside this area, please contact us to arrange a meeting point so we can pick you up.
