Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain

This day, we'll pick you up very early at your hotel to begin the adventure. We'll head south at 4:30 a.m. and tour the southern valley, where the best corn grains are produced, and we'll visit picturesque villages until we reach Cusipata, where we'll stop to recharge with a delicious breakfast. Then, we'll continue our journey through valleys and mountains. We'll spot llamas, alpacas, and the unique landscapes until we reach 4,800 meters above sea level. Here, we'll leave our vehicles behind. We begin our hike at the beginning, where we will contemplate the first rainbow mountain. About 15 minutes into the hike, we will see the Red Valley, and 45 minutes later, we will find the third and most impressive rainbow mountain, Palcoyo. Here we will take photos and connect with nature. After a rest, we will climb for about 10 minutes to the rock forest, the highest point at 5,080 meters. This is where the classic photo of Palcoyo is taken. Following the path, we will prepare to return to the vehicle and begin the return trip. On the way back, we pass through Checacupe to see a colonial bridge and an Inca bridge. We will take photos and later return to the restaurant for lunch. Later, we will return to Cusco. We will arrive at approximately 5:00 PM.

Flexibility

• The cancellation policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies without penalty. Otherwise, a 100% penalty applies.
• The rescheduling policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies until December 31, 2025.

• Passengers are responsible for arriving on time according to the established itinerary of the purchased tour package. Otherwise, they may be able to join the corresponding service later under their own means (transportation). No refunds will apply for missed services.
• We pick up guests from hotels located in the historic center of Cusco. If you are staying at an accommodation outside of this area, please contact us to arrange a meeting point so we can pick you up.
