Humantay Lagoon

The tour will begin with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 a.m. We will drive for 2 hours to Mollepata, where we will stop to recharge our batteries with a delicious breakfast. From there, we will continue for another hour to "Soraypampa." Here, we will leave the vehicle and prepare for the hike. As we walk, we will see the Salkantay glacier, at an altitude of 6,200 meters. We will walk along the banks of a stream, accompanied by your guide, who will be attentive to you throughout the journey. The trail is surrounded by the Salkantay Mountains, one of Peru's most sacred mountains, which rises to 6,200 meters (20,600 feet) with a steep, snow-capped face. As we look out over the imposing snow-capped peak, we will have time to make an offering to Mother Earth, Pachamama. Later, we will return to Soraypampa to board the vehicle and return to Mollepata, where our buffet lunch awaits us. Later, we will begin our return to Cusco. Along the way, we will stop by an artisanal ice cream shop if you prefer. We can stop and sample some of these delicacies, and then we will return to Cusco. Our approximate arrival time will be around 5:30 p.m.

Flexibility

• The cancellation policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies without penalty. Otherwise, a 100% penalty applies.
• The rescheduling policy is valid up to 3 days before the travel date and applies until December 31, 2025.

• Tour start time: Between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM (it is recommended to be ready at the pickup point 15 minutes in advance).
• Passengers are responsible for arriving on time according to the established itinerary of the purchased tour package. Otherwise, they may be able to join the corresponding service later under their own means (transportation). No refunds will apply for missed services.
• We pick up guests from hotels located in the historic center of Cusco. If you are staying at an accommodation outside of this area, please contact us to arrange a meeting point so we can pick you up.
