DETAILED ITINERARY The tour to the Lost Canyon begins in Ica. Pickup is between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., heading to the desert. We will stop in Ocucaje for breakfast and to buy water and snacks. Since there are no shops or places to eat in the desert, it is important to bring our own food. After about a 2-hour drive, we arrive at the Canyon Lookout, where the guide will explain the geological formation of this magnificent place. We will also observe fossils, flora, and fauna. We will walk through the interior of the canyon for an hour and a half. Later, at 12:00 p.m., we will prepare to return to the vehicle. At approximately 1:00 p.m., we will stop for lunch and regain our strength before later beginning the return trip to Ica. Our tour will end at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Ica.
