    Day 1


    We depart very early from Cusco (approx. 03:00 am) heading south, crossing high Andean landscapes and rural communities until reaching Checacupe. We continue to Phinaya where we will enjoy breakfast, then head to Suyuparina, the starting point of a short hike of approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Along the way, you will observe lagoons, ice formations, snow-capped mountains, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat. Upon arrival at the Quelccaya Glacier, you will have free time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the majesty of the largest tropical glacier in the world. Then we return to Phinaya for lunch and finally head back to Cusco, arriving approximately between 08:00 and 09:00 pm.
